La Chingada write up

You know when you walk by a subway vent and hot air blows out at you? August in Valencia feels like you are permanently walking by a subway vent. I was the first of our group to arrive at La Chingada, a buzzy Mexican restaurant on Calle XXX, and the waitress asked me where I would like to be seated - indoors or outdoors?
I resisted the urge to say, “What the fuck do you think?” as sweat ran from every pore, and instead politely requested a table indoors because, “Hace mucho calor, Capitan Obvio!”. She smiled and gave me a table right by the air conditioning. Angels do walk this earth.
What we ate - chips and guacamole, nachos (ENORMOUS), veggie fajitas,
What we drank - jugs of frozen margaritas. Tip - the jugs get you four margaritas for cheaper than what you’d pay for them individually. However, I’d ask for a new glass in between each jug in order to get the lovely little tajin spiced rim with each sip.
Stand out dish - probably the nachos because you could quite easily leave satisfied if you shared the full portion between four people.
